Freedom In Christ

The Father saw my sin before creation be. Yet still He sent His Son to die for me.

Blood poured from Christ on His cross. That for those who believe would not be counted a loss.

Death for life, yet Christ lives forever more. The Lord stands in victory and freedom given me as never before.

Blinded no longer living in a life of darkness. Seeing and trusting, the light of the world, abiding in the Saviors fullness.

A blanket held and wrapped about me by the Father so precious. A love within love that envelopes, for it is the Son’s righteousness.

How can it be? The Lamb of God died for me. To believe in He is to be free and see, oh how to see that He makes free.

In obedience and love Christ gave His blood. The love of God shined through Him like a river. NO! A roaring flood.

Now the good Shepherd cries to those who are without. Listen and know that He seeks you. With this, there is no doubt.

I see, now free because of He, the Christ, forever alive in Him. Praise, honor and glory be to the Father in Heaven and to Christ Jesus, the Lord. AMEN.

The Good Shepherd, Christ Jesus the Lord, watches.
