We Are At War.
Perhaps you’re feeling attacked, but what, or in this case, who is attacking you? What force are you fighting and who are you up against? We all are in a battle so join me as we go to Ephesians 6 verse 12 where we are told by the Apostle Paul who it is we fight. We also see how to fight this fight and be victorious. Don’t allow the enemy to gain anymore ground on you.
Remember This Fact.
Psalm 46:10 is a command for us to cease from everything, and not only know that God is God, but to be still and know Him. This is not only to God’s people, but also to those who are against Him. God is telling them to stop coming against Him and know that He is indeed God before He comes against them. Let us stop fighting, trying to take matters into our own hands, cease from worry, cease from being anxious, and know that God is still God. Know Him and know that He is still in control.
Rely On Him Who Dwells In You.
When all the things in the world comes at you remember, it is He that is in you and it is that promise we read in 1 John 4:4. In Christ you are of God and His Holy Spirit now dwells in you. But how is that really helpful in such an evil world? Let us look at what the Apostle John is meaning in chapter 4 verse 4 of 1 John.
Who is The One That Helps You?
You ever had moments you didn’t know what to pray? Or perhaps you felt you weren’t praying the right things. Let us look at what God inspired the Apostle Paul to write in Romans 8 verse 26 where you will see an amazing promise.
God Is Listening.
Do you feel as if God has turned His face from you or you do not deserve to be in His presence? Well lets look at what David wrote in Psalm 31 verse 22 and see that He had these thoughts at times. But then we see the power of “Nevertheless”.
Where Is Your Affection?
How often do the things of this world tear you down? So much can fill our minds that it begins to take our focus off of God. Let us look at what the Apostle Paul was inspired to write in Colossians 3 verses 1-2. We must not let the things of this world take up so much space in our minds, for we are in the world, but this world is not our home.
May God use this to bless you. May the grace and mercy of Christ be with you always.
