God Loves You Because He Loves You.

We all know the John 3:16 verse where Christ states that God SO loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son and who ever believes will not perish but have eternal life. But let me ask this, what was it in this rebellious world that God would love? No flower beautiful enough, no man or woman pure enough, and nothing really lovable. There was thorns, briers, and nothing desirable that God needed to add to His already Righteous and Holy existence. So, where did this love come from? It came from nothing outside of God, but springs from God Himself. Its God’s nature to love, for in 1 John 4:8 it tells us that God is love. There is nothing you can do to earn His love or make Him love you more or less; His love streams from His own secret source of His eternal deity and springs from beneath the everlasting throne and constantly fills itself from His infinite springs. God showed His love by sending Christ, His one and only Son, to die for us, even though we were still sinners (Romans 5:8). Even blind eyes can recognize that love consists of such a sacrifice, but with those blind eyes they miss the love shown by Christ on the cross; such love to die for us, the rebellious who rejected Him. But even with the dark, black background of sin, it makes the brightness of Gods love stand out much more clearly. I know now that because of Christ, I live, for without Him, I would most certainly be dead. Gods love is a crashing wave that spans the entirety of the universe and fills it, yet, can fill our hearts because the full force of Gods love is life shattering. God loves us simply because He loves us, we do not earn it, nor can we buy it, it is His gift to us. However, we were bought with a price and our sins were paid for, and that price was the blood of Jesus Christ that was freely given to free us from sin and the wrath of God so that we can have salvation. God is love, and because He is love, love comes from Him and He will teach you how to better love. All honor and glory to our heavenly Father and to our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and peace be with you all in the name of Christ Jesus.

Striving To Be Like Christ.

I’m not the man I would like to be. I do not react to things the way I would like or respond in a manner that is righteous. I do not love as deeply or show that love in a way that I feel expresses the love inside. I say things that are wrong, hurtful, or may trigger things in others. However, the impulse that I do have is to be more like Christ. To see through His eyes, hear with His ears, and feel with His heart. To feel sorrow, not over myself or my own struggle, but sorrow over the struggles of others and for the souls of the lost. I am so far from perfect, so as we all are, and if you think your perfect, time for a reality check. I want to be different from the way I am. Not that I hate myself, but to be more like Christ everyday. I pray He moves my heart from selfish things, to be closer to Him. To love so deep, burn so bright, see more clearly, and show Christ in me to all I come in contact with. I do get sick at times of the way I feel; anger, depression, and a wave of others. I get tired of the way I make others feel or make them think things by what I say. Nevertheless, I keep fighting because I know that it is Christ who strengthens me. Slowly, daily, I want Christ to remove a little more of me and replace it with a little more of Him. I do not want to be a liar by saying that I follow Him and then not living a life that shows Him in me. Let that go for you as well. Do not say you follow Christ when there is hate in your heart, you cuss the first person who cusses at you, or slap a person simply because they hit your heel with a buggy in Wal-Mart. Christ was whipped, beaten, nailed through His wrist and feet, and still asked the Father to forgive them; we are not greater than Christ. I too respond in unrighteous anger at times, but I’m so tired of doing so and apologizing or using my disorder as an excuse. I must be better, I must be more like Christ, and so too should all of us.

Transform Me Lord.

I will forever trust in my Lord. I will praise His name. His mercy and grace has flooded over me, even in times I did not deserve it. In an ocean of waves tossing back and forth, He is the life raft that keeps me from going under and the anchor that keeps me from drifting. He holds me, protects me, guides me, and sustains me. It is not what I want, it is what He wants; it is His will that I want to do, not mine. My desires may lead to destruction, but His desires are pure and are the best.

If I make my request known to Him and He grants it, I will praise Him; if He does not grant it, I will still praise Him. I do not want to simply look, I want to see, and not just hear, but listen. I do not want to only say “I love you”, I want to show it. I must be decreased while Christ is increased within me. Cycles must go, and life in Christ must be first. I want to please my Lord. I want to be more obedient, more disciplined, not to earn anything that has already been given to me freely, but to show the love of Christ. To have His Spirit fill me so full that it pours out to all.

Who am I to hold on to the truth of Jesus Christ? For that truth is meant for all. If you see yourself as a “whosoever”, then the gift of salvation is meant for you, if you do not, its still meant for you. If you already have it, share it. I want to no longer be familiar with my reflection due to being so transformed by my Lord that He is beginning to shine through. I do not want to present to you the vile, selfish, insignificant me, but the perfect, holy, righteous, loving, powerful, sufficient Christ. I will forever trust my Lord and will praise His holy name. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

Standing Before The Glorified Christ.

(URGENT CRY): One day, we will all stand before Jesus Christ and give an account for all we have done and said, and for things we didn’t do or say. Many will stand in terror and say, “But I went to church; I gave money to charity; I was a good person”, but Christ will say, “Leave my sight, for I do not know you”. And all of the heavenly host of angels will applaud His righteous judgement. Not believing in Jesus Christ, does not mean you will get a pass from having to face judgement. For He will remind you of all the times someone told you of Him; every time you heard His name; every time you read something pertaining to Him, and every time He reached out to you in some way or form. If you know of Jesus, and still refuse to submit to Him, then how much more so will you be held accountable. The demons believe and tremble at the name of Jesus Christ; they know who He is, yet, they do not call Him Lord, nor submit to His will. But a human can laugh at the name of Jesus Christ, and in their ignorance, mock Him. But on the day they stand before Him, witnessing His awesome power; His pure Holiness; His overwhelming righteousness, and His flaming eyes burning through them, they cry, “Lord”. But Christ will say, “Why call me Lord now?”. My dearest friends, do not wait till that day to call Him Lord, call Him Lord today, and submit to His will. Do not wait to hear, “Depart from me, for I never knew you”, instead, call out to Jesus Christ now and look forward to hearing, “Well done, my good and faithful servant”. Grace be with you all.

The Return of Christ is Near.

It is written, “Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven”(Matthew 26:24). Let us not be deceived by the enemy in to only knowing half of Jesus Christ. Do not be fooled into believing you can only say a half-hearted prayer, still go and do what you please, and expect that you will enter Gods kingdom; it is a lie created by Satan to give false hope to those who love the world, but puts on a mask and say they love their “Jesus”. Yes, Christ is loving, humble, forgiving, and very patient. He is also Holy, Righteous, Powerful, and does not like for people to take advantage of His patience and abuse His grace. He loves all people, for He died for the sins of the world, but if you say you love Him, yet, you still love the ways of the world, you are deceiving yourself; you are trampling on the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Christian walk is serious and should be taken as such; you do not go half-heated, you go with all your heart. If you approach the throne of Christ and you are lukewarm, you will make Him vomit. Are these words harsh, I think not. For the time calls for straight forward language that is not watered down, for the time draws near when the King of kings will step out and gather His children. The decision must be made now; confess Christ as Lord, and believe with all your heart that God raised Him from the dead. He promised if you do this, you WILL be saved.
