Is it a hobby? Of course not. Is it a game? Far from it. Is it a label? It is no where near it. To say “I am Christian” is a lifestyle. Western Christianity has become just another fad for many to fit into a certain social context and appear as something “religious”. I read and hear from many that they are “Christian” but they do not live the way Christ told us to live. They speak one way and act another. They speak well one minute and wish ill on someone the next.They say they love “everybody” but they harbor hate in their hearts. Of course nobody is perfect, but I would respect the person who is honest about themselves more than those who put on their mask and pretend to be something their not. Many say “I am a Christian and I love Jesus”, but cross them the wrong way and their true self will come forth. I am not referring to all, only to those who say they follow Christ but honestly they do not. For the Jesus they follow is the one they picked apart from Scripture and watered-down preaching and pieced together a comfortable Jesus for themselves that would fit their agenda and allow them to live anyway they choose.To follow Jesus Christ is to know all of Him and accept all of Him, even when it is hard. To those who follow Christ Jesus our Lord: Keep up the good fight, stay strong in the faith, and remain focused on our Lord. The sheep hear the voice of the Shepherd and He will never lead you astray, for He is the good Shepherd who deeply loves His flock. What voice do you hear? May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
